Description	:	The first known survey of this cemetery was done by Dr. Allan E. Marble on August 13, 1967. Per his usual custom, he did not give the cemetery a name but assigned it an identifying number, in this case 60, and a location, Roxbury. A notation in Dr. Marble’s original handwritten survey notes says “Lost in the woods.” At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed Dr. Marble’s survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb and, at that time, the volunteers named it “Roxbury Cemetery”. It is in the former logging community of Roxbury, abandoned since the early 1900s.
