Description	:	This very small and long inactive cemetery is located at Hurricane Branch between Elkatawa and Chenowee. From its junction with KY Route 52, proceed 2.9 miles west on Route 52 to the CSX railroad underpass through which Hurricane Branch flows to Lindon Fork. Go through the underpass and look for the cemetery on the hillside north of the creek. It sits low on the hill, parallel and next to the top of the railroad bed only a few feet away. There is neither local family knowledge nor evidence of other gravesites at this location. Elijah Clay, a pioneer settler from Virginia, was a cousin of Henry Clay, the U.S. Senator from Kentucky.
