Description : The oldest monument at the Farm Hill Cemetery is that of Selay Hamrick, mother of Delilah Mardis, who died Feb. 3, 1846. Delilah Mardis was the wife of Dr. J.P. Mardis who came from Alabama in 1840 and settled in the Farm Hill Community. He built a log house for church and school a little west of the present Farm Hill Church building.
