| Description | : | A town resident, a local business and the Ashland Historical Society teamed up to fix the grave of Revolutionary War veteran Aaron Brown, about 15 feet behind the Mindess School. Aaron Brown, a Revolutionary War veteran, contracted smallpox after it was brought to Framingham in 1793. Seventeen people in the area, including Brown, were placed in "pest houses" to isolate them from the rest of the population.
