Description	:	In 1726, a small group of seceders broke away from the Baptist Church in the Great Valley to become adherents of the Seventh-Day Baptist Church. The group of five patriarchs and their families removed to an area along the French Creek in what was then Nantmeal Township, which today is part of Warwick Township. There, in 1762, a 30' × 22' frame meeting house was erected for worship by adherents of that faith on one acre of land gifted by David Rogers.
