Description	:	This cemetery contains some of the family of George Chambers, an affluent landowner in the early to mid 19th century. George owned two mills on the property, just south of the Slate River, near Turpins Creek. Very close by are the remains of the homestead and the saw mill. There are four unmarked graves, noted by obvious depressions. At least two graves are marked by fieldstones only. There is speculation that the four unmarked graves are of Charles Saunders, his wife Elizabeth Chambers (daughter of George and Mary Chambers), and two small Saunders children.
