Description	:	This Grade II-listed church was built in 1787 and stands at the heart of the village of Dobcross. A tower added in 1843. Two of the vicars were related by marriage: Rev. William Simpson was Licensed to the Perpetual Curacy of Dobcross on 8 March 1845. He was Vicar of Holy Trinity, Dobcross for 55 years. Rev. Harry Pollentine Edwards was appointed Headmaster of Dobcross Church School in 1867. He married Caroline Mary, daughter of Rev. William Simpson, on 8 January 1884, he became Curate at Dobcross in 1885, and Vicar in 1900, he retired in 1916.
