Description	:	This is all that remains of the town of Saundersville which was leveled by strip mining. Many of the burials are old and several of the markers were worn to the point they could not be read. The cemetery is on land that was part of Jacob Saunders’ original plot that he later sold to his oldest son John Harrison Saunders. Most of the burials are direct dependents of Jacob and John.
