Description : Off Rt. 7 (Back Creek Valley Rd.), just 400 feet south of Jones Springs on west side of road. A few years after the Civil War, Daniel N. Kees (1837-1928), purchased land and began farming in the town of Jones Springs. Daniel and his wife, Lucinda Kees, sold 1/4 acre for a dollar to the trustees of Jones Spring Methodist Episcopal Church on Oct. 11, 1895.
