Description | : | Kasugano Cemetery was a "Foreigners'" or International Cemetery as the Japanese would not allow them to be buried with the dead of the local population. The cemetery became full and was closed in 1954. At around the same time it was decided to relocated all foreigners' graves to a new Foreigners' Cemetery, the Kobe Municipal Foreigners' Cemetery.
