Description : Farm Cemetery on the Lester Iames Farm 1971, along Town Creek east of Route 326, six miles south of Chaneysville Thirty or more field stones. There are also fifteen wooden markers in a row, said to be Negro slaves who were going north on the Underground Railroad. As those who were trailing them were getting to close they asked to be killed sooner than returned to the South and slavery. Story is written in the book "Chaneysville Massacre". The cemetery is located back a dirt road. It is quite isolated.
