Description	:	This cemetery is called the Love cemetery but to be able to tell the difference between this one and the Love cemetery at Oil springs I called this one Loves Valley cemetery since it is located in the Loves Valley area southeast of Marietta and the other is located several miles north in the Oil Springs area both in Love County Oklahoma. Some names have been mistakenly submitted to the wrong cemetery and I wanted to straighten out who was buried where. Some names have been mistakenly submitted to the wrong cemetery and I wanted to straighten out who was buried where. The Love Cemetery was founded approximately 1860 and consists of approximately 180 graves, 50 were originally marked but now only 19 are marked. The cemetery was used as a hog pen in the 1930's and a lot of the headstones were turned over or ruined. The location is Section 9 Township 8 South Range 3 East.
