Description : Lynn Center Cemetery, also known as Boone Cemetery or Lynn Township Cemetery, was founded in 1922. A Lynn Township farmer, Olof Bodeen, had expressed numerous times a wish that when he died, he be buried in or near Lynn Center, so it was remarkable that his passing away was the means by which the community procured a cemetery. This was made possible by another Lynn Township farmer, Daniel McKillop, who upon hearing of the passing of Mr. Bodeen, donated a small piece of his land a half mile north of Lynn Center, for the newly founded cemetery.
