Description	:	The Marcus Hook Baptist Church is the third-oldest church of the denomination in Delaware County. Its first edifice was situated in Lower Chichester Township (a section later incorporated into the Borough of Marcus Hook) in what was then known as Cedar Grove, in the year 1788. Later, a larger edifice on Market Street in Marcus Hook was built in 1853, though the burial grounds remained at the old site. The church burial grounds were sold to the American Viscose Corporation in 1925 for an expansion of its factory, and the bodies were reinterred in the "Old Baptist Section" of...
