Description	:	Exeter Township: From Rt. 422 on Shelbourne proceed past Grist Mill Race and take a left onto a private driveway right before the severe curve at an Exeter Golf Course Hole. Size: 85' north to south; the entire yard from back to front is involved. The original size of the Messerschmidt was 11' x 22' with a post and rail enclosure. In 1812 a John Bechtel County document directed that the area be expanded 30' east and 20' north. This might have been after the Bechtels already enlarged the original 11' x 22' site.
