Description	:	This was the original cemetery for Immanuel Lutheran Church (1847-1866) on land donated by Johann Leonard Matthes, before the church and cemetery were built at their present location at 6272 West Albain Road. A cemetery was begun at its current location in 1866. However, since many of the graves contained cholera victims, they were not moved to the new cemetery, but were left in the original cemetery.
