" On top of a hill two miles west of Parkville and a half mile from the river is a nameless cemetery where older people of the neighborhood estimate thirty to fifty bodies are buried. Yet the cemetery contains only two inscribed stones, the most recent which is 1857. One is of a Waddell, born September 20, 1817, died June 11, 1857. The other is simply inscribed "aeM.A.E.W."
