Description	:	Owen county history states: The first burial place in Jennings Township was near the lower falls of the Eel River, where Isaac Teel was laid away as early as the year 1821. Several other interments were made at the same place, but the grounds were later abandoned and no grave remains to mark the place. However upon inspection, evidence of graves were found, several were marked. There are several graves with field stones without any information as well as evidence of sunken graves without any markers.
