Description	:	Pleasant Plains Cemetery Plot is a small fenced-in plot on the grounds of Pleasant Plains Elementary School behind the main building. For a long time it was overgrown by honeysuckle and was known for awhile as the honeysuckle plot. It contains the graves of 7 or 8 Stansbury family members. Other Stansburys, previously buried here, were removed to Taylor's Chapel a few miles away when the Stansbury farm was sold. It is not known why these graves were not moved with them. In the cleaning up process many of the stones were lost or broken. What remains are the fragments of several of the stones: Abraham Stansbury, James E. Stansbury and Thomas J. Stansbury.Fragments of other stones either have no inscription (being effaced by weather)or illegible inscriptions.
