| Description | : | This is an Historic, defunct burial site located at the bottom of San Carlos Lake at Coolidge Dam on the San Carlos Apache Reservation. Rice was founded as "12 mile post" and then its name was changed to Talkalai in 1880. In 1907 the post office name was changed to Rice. Rice was eventually absorbed by the town of "Old San Carlos".
