Description	:	The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin in Rosochata (prior to 1945 Seifersdorf) was first mentioned in 1287. A new building was built in 1517. Following the Reformation, the building was taken over by a Protestant congregation. However, it was burned during the Thirty Years' War, and afterwards restored to the Catholic Church, which rebuilt it around 1650. The church was restored in the 19th century and renovated again following WWII. The church contains several epitaphs and figural tombstones dating from the 16th through 18th centuries, and was formerly surrounded by a graveyard of which few traces remain.
