Description	:	The old Sims plantation that was located next to the Hopewell cemetery,it was burned down by Union soldiers under Sherman towards the end of the war. A cemetery that was on the plantation is supposed to contain most of the early Sims graves. I have been told that if you go into the field across from the Hopewell Cemetery you can locate the old Sims cemetery but the head stones are no longer there to identify the graves.
