Description	:	This cemetery is located in the SE4,SW4, SE4 of Section 32, Township 17N, Range 25E. It is located approximately four miles southwest of Baron in Adair County, Oklahoma. In 1938, Gus Hummingbird surveyed this cemetery through his work with the Works Progress Administration. He recorded the existence of eighteen graves in this cemetery, only one of which contained a tombstone. Read More	This cemetery is located in the SE4,SW4, SE4 of Section 32, Township 17N, Range 25E. It is located approximately four miles southwest of Baron in Adair County, Oklahoma. In 1938, Gus Hummingbird surveyed this cemetery through his work with the Works Progress Administration. He recorded the existence of eighteen graves in this cemetery, only one of which contained a tombstone. He noted, "This cemetery was started recently after the Civil War according to Ben Knight, an old Cherokee that lives in this community. This was told to Ben by his mother, Rachel Soap, who allotted this strip of land at allotment. There were some people buried after the Civil War by the name of England. But the first grave that has been remembered by almost all of the old timers was a small child of John Hammer. This was about 1875. The last person that was buried here was Aggie Knight.
