Description	:	These burials are scattered in several locations in a pasture on the old Soldier Sixkiller farm located in Section 35, Township 19N, Range 25E. The farm is approximately a mile southwest of the community of Ballard in Adair County, Oklahoma. These burials preceeded the Civil War. In 1969, authors James W. Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons described these burials in their book Our People and Where They Rest. They listed five graves during their visit to the cemetery.
