The family burial ground is located at the end of Dunn Creek Cemetery Road, Jacksonville, FL and adjoins to the Dunn Creek Cemetery. The first burials in this cemetery were probably Luther Henry Tison, who died 1841 or 1842, and his wife Winnie Hines Tison who died about 10 few years later. The Tison family was a large group and they married into the other early Duval County families, sometimes several times over, such as Clark, Terrell, Wells, Higginbotham and Houston. While there...
