Description : Trinity Lutheran Church in Crimora is the oldest congregation in Augusta County, Virginia. It dates its humble beginnings to the year 1772 when Michael Keinadt came down to the Shenandoah Valley from Lancaster County Pennsylvania with his wife Margaret Diller Keinadt. The first log church was built in 1794 and located just about in the center of the current Trinity Cemetery. But the cemetery was in use long before that time.
