Description	:	Lutheran Immigrants gathered in Rocky Bluff Schoolhouse on April 19, 1886. At this gathering Andrew Petterson offered to donate 5 acres of land to build a Church and plan for an adjoining cemetery. A vote was taken to accept the land donation and to incorporate as "Swedish Lutheran Valby Congregation" (Valby meaning "Shepherd's Dell") Andrew Anderson was the first to be buried in Valby Lutheran Cemetery in 1902.
