Reuben is buried there with the two sons who died young, Reuben Jr. and Richard Andrew. Reuben's wife Mary (Moore) and a number of their children and grandchildren are buried in the Gamel- Methodist Cemetery in Festus. The road that this farm was on was named Waggoner Rd., reportedly after Reuben, but misspelled by the state road board. The house that the family lived in was described as a two story... Reuben is buried there with the two sons who died young, Reuben Jr. and Richard Andrew. Reuben's wife Mary (Moore) and a number of their children and grandchildren are buried in the Gamel- Methodist Cemetery in Festus. The road that this farm was on was named Waggoner Rd., reportedly after Reuben, but misspelled by the state road board. The house that the family lived in was described as a two story log house, covered with shingles. The old farm house was torn down in the 1970's, and the current house was built on the same spot. The current address for that location is 13069 Waggoner Road. Techically this is Rush Tower, but the mailing address is Festus. The current owners of that property are a wonderful couple, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver and Shirley Hayes.
