Description	:	Washington Missionary Baptist Church 1920 Stony Point Rd Waco, NC 704-435-3138 Church history. Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. was formed in 1906. Reverend James Surratt was the first official pastor of the church. In 1916, the fourth pastor, Rev. F.L. Howell served for thirty-one years In 1929, under Rev. Howell's leadership the church was relocated and built on land that he himself donated. That land is now the site of the present cemetery. In 1989, under Dr. Montgomery's leadership, the church purchased the historic Waco High School. In March 22, 1992 the renovations were completed.
