Read More	Suggested edit: Rigmor Nielsen, the daughter of Lewis and Maria Frank Hansen, was born near Aurora, Nebraska on November 12, 1893. Her death occurred at Aurora, Nebraska on August 19, 1978, following a short illness, at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 7 days. She spent her childhood on her parents farm, where she started her education, attending School District No. 8 near her parents home. She then attended the Folk School at Nysted, Nebraska. Later she attended Grand View College in Des Moines. At the start of World War One she attended a school in Nursing in Chicago for a short time. On November 28, 1930 she was united in marriage to Thomas Nielsen at the home of her parents. Her husband operated a blacksmith and machine shop in Kronborg until 1936, when they moved to a farm near Aurora. Her husband preceded her in death on January 9, 1957. Soon after his death she moved to her present home in Aurora. At an early age she was baptized in the Lutheran Faith and later was confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church in Kronborg, and was an active member of that congregation as long as her health permitted. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Bernhardt Hansen, F. Walter Hansen and Verner Hansen, two sisters, Mrs. Thyra Feddersen and one infant sister. Her only survivors are three brothers, Harold Hansen, George G. Hansen and Herluf Hansen, all of Aurora; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Dyer of Sacramento, California and Miss Yrsa Hansen of Aurora; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many close friends.
