The family suggests memorials to the Aaron "Andy'' Elsbury Memorial Fund. Andy was born Jan. 27, 1910, in Lake City, the son of Raymond Clair and Minnie (Edgington) Elsbury. He married Helen Downing Dec. 25, 1932, in Albert Lea, Minn. Andy farmed for many years and in 1967 went to work for Thomas Machine Shop as a machinist. He retired in 1990. After his first wife, Helen, died in 1982, Andy married Addie Bahnsen April 23, 1983. Andy enjoyed spending winters in Arizona. He was a member of the Rock Falls United Methodist Church, North Iowa Vintage Auto Club, Four & Six Cylinder Plymouth Club, was a board member of the Kinney Pioneer Museum, a member of the Cedar Valley Engine Club, was a technical adviser for 1932 Plymouth automobiles and enjoyed showing his 1932 Plymouth in shows around the country. He and his son, Clair, showed their third scale hand-built model Case Steam Engine in shows around North Iowa. Survivors include his wife, Addie M. Elsbury of Rock Falls; son, Raymond Elsbury and his wife, Deanna, of Mason City; daughters, Geraldine Schlough of Huntington Beach, Calif., Thelma Harris and her husband, Richard, of Osage, and Coral Elsbury and her husband, Timothy Nuehring, of Mason City; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Helen; one brother, Archie; and one grandson, Timothy.
