AARON: YOU ARE MY GREAT, GREAT-GRANDFATHER. THANK YOU FOR SHOULDERING THE BURDEN OF ADMINISTERING THE SHEPPARD ESTATE AND HELPING RAISE YOUR 7 ORPHANED GRANDCHILDREN. THEY ALL TURNED OUT WELL. I WISH I HAD KNOWN YOU.

OBIT: "Mr. Aaron Eaton of near Desloge passed out of this life into the great beyond on August 10th, 1906, aged 68 years. He leaves a wife and seven sons and daughters to mourn his loss. He was a member of the M.E. Church South, at Russell Chapel. His funeral took place at Richardson graveyard near Hazel Run, conducted by his pastor, the writer, after which his remains were laid at rest to await the great resurrection day".
