Description	:	Aaron L. "Dutch" Fellows, 99, of Douds, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, in Jefferson County Hospital Living Care Center where he had resided since June 2003. He was born Dec. 17, 1907 on the family farm between Douds and Keosauqua to Theo D. and Mary Ratcliff Fellows. He married Wilda L. Anderson June 4, 1931 in Bloomfield. He was born Dec. 17, 1907 on the family farm between Douds and Keosauqua to Theo D. and Mary Ratcliff Fellows. He married Wilda L. Anderson June 4, 1931 in Bloomfield. She preceded him in death June 20, 2003. Dutch graduated from Douds-Leando High School with the class of 1926, served in the Army Air Corps and farmed. He had been a self-employed trucker and painter, worked in Douds area coal mines and Douds Quarry, owned and operated an auto repair shop in Douds and was employed many years at Parsons Chevrolet and Keosauqua Motor Co., both in Keosauqua, as a mechanic. In retirement he worked part time at Pedrick Home Center, Douds. Dutch was a 62-year member and Past Master of Celestial Lodge No. 413, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, Douds and a 59-year member and Past Patron of Twin City Chapter No. 258, Order of Eastern Star, Douds and was an avid reader and gun and coin collector. Surviving are a son, Ted Fellows and wife, Judy of Douds; a daughter, Clara F. Williams of Carmichael, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Billy D. Fellows; a son-in-law, Fred Williams, Jr.; a grandson, Ralph Aaron Fellows; and two sisters, Charlotte Reddick and Willa Hendricks. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds, Rev. Phil Campbell officiating.
