Description	:	daughter of Theo and Mary Fairfield Ledger, The (IA) - Sunday, June 22, 2003 Wilda Larue Fellows, 91, of Douds died at 12:50 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2003, in the long-term care unit of Jefferson County Hospital. The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private interment of cremains will be in Leando Cemetery in Douds. Arrangements were handled by Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds. Mrs. Fellows was born Feb. 15, 1912, near Siloam Springs, Ark., the daughter of Lewis and Florence Knox Anderson. She married Aaron L. Fellows June 4, 1931, in Bloomfield. Mrs. Fellows graduated from Douds-Leando High School in 1931 and lived most of her life in the Douds community. She was a homemaker and was an administrative assistant to the late Alden L. Doud, attorney and state senator and national secretary of Delta Theta Phi law fraternity in Douds. She later worked in several southeast Iowa Selective Service offices, retiring in 1974. Mrs. Fellows was a 50 year member, past matron and former secretary of Twin City Chapter No. 258, Order of Eastern Star in Douds. Mrs. Fellows was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Billy D. Fellows; one grandson; four brothers, Rome, Carl, Jean and Clarence Anderson; and four sister, Fae Stewart, Nellie Siemon, Mildred Steele Coker and Louise Payne.
