| Description | : | From the Rutland Daily Herald, April 27, 1917: Wallingford - The funeral of Aaron Preston was held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Congregational church. Rev. O.R. Houghton officiated. The bearers were Frank Hawkins, Clarence Ward, Walter Maranville, Fred Miner, John Brown and W.F. Hagar. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery. There were flowers from Kearney W.R.C., Sons of Veterans and many others from relatives and neighbors. Mr. Preston was born in this town and had spent his life here, being in his 77th year.
