" Abraham served in the Revolutionary War as Sergeant in Captain Peter Crosa's Company of Col Moses Nichols' Regiment in New Hampshire. The following quote is from Jim Thompson's research on the Moor genealogy. " Abraham and Esther Moor moved from Goffstown, New Hampshire to Norridgewock, Maine in 1797, following in the footsteps one of of Abraham's older brothers, John who had moved there some years earlier. They later moved to Fairhaven (now St. Albans), Maine. Some years after that the portion they were in became the present town of Hartland, where both are buried. Abraham was born about 1749, probably in Lichfield, New Hampshire, and died in Hartland, Maine, Feb. 15, 1823. He was the seventh (later research showed he was 10th child) and youngest child of Major Samuel and Deborah (Butterfield) Moor. Esther was born in Bedford, New Hammpshire Apr. 27, 1754, the third child of Captain James and Esther (Goffe) Walker. Her older sister, Sally, married Joseph Moor, another older brother of Abraham. Abraham and Esther were married, probably in Bedford, New Hampshire, by 1773. Esther died Jan. 26, 1841 in Hartland, Maine."
