Description	:	Revolutionary War Soldier "Major John Moor, born in Naticott, New Hampshire, (now Litchfield) Nov. 28, 1731, died in North Anson, in 1809. In 1775, Capt. john Moor led a company of forty-five men to Lexington. Was captain in Stark's regiment. Was captain of first New Hampshire regiment, May 23, 1775. Was major in same from June 18, to December 1775. Was major in Fifth Continental Infantry from January 1 to December 21, 1776. Col. JOHN MOOR, aged 77, being an old revolutionary officer, who commanded the American troops on the left in the battle of Bunker-Hill. His funeral was attended with the most numerous concourse of people ever known in these parts, being 150 sleighs present--A well adapted discourse was preached by the Rev. John Clayford. ∼married to Margaret Goffe & Eunice Weston, led 45 men at Lexington and Concord, also served under Capt John Stark.
