Description	:	Absalom Henry Obituary Absolem Henry was born in Buchanan County, Missouri, October 14, 1842 and passed away at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, Oct. 25, 1919, aged 77 years and 11 days. He was married at Springfield, Mo., July 29th, 1864 to Miss Josephine Shannon, who proceeded him to the great beyond 21 years ago. To this Union were born six children, Sarah E., who passed away in 1881; Edward, William J., and James S., of Cozad, Neb., Mrs. Ida M. Read More	Absalom Henry Obituary Absolem Henry was born in Buchanan County, Missouri, October 14, 1842 and passed away at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, Oct. 25, 1919, aged 77 years and 11 days. He was married at Springfield, Mo., July 29th, 1864 to Miss Josephine Shannon, who proceeded him to the great beyond 21 years ago. To this Union were born six children, Sarah E., who passed away in 1881; Edward, William J., and James S., of Cozad, Neb., Mrs. Ida M. Anders of Merino, Colo., and Mrs. Nora Brinkworth of Marysville, Kansas, who are left to mourn to loving father. He is also survived by four brothers and six sisters, Mrs. Lyda Garrison of Lexington, Neb.; Mrs. Nancy Watkins of Maysville, Mo.; J.F. of Maysville, Mo.; John H. of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Ulysses S. Henry and Mrs. Mary Sheard of Fairport, Mo.; Manuel J. Of King City, Mo.; and Mrs. Anna Osborne of Amity, Mo. Whose hears are saddened by this bereavement. Mr. Henry located in Dawson county, Nebraska, in 1874 and has continually resided here. He was a Civil War veteran and served three years. 6 months and 14 days in Company E., 6th Mo. Cavalry. Besides a large number of relatives he leaves a host of friends who mourn his departure. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. K. H. Clifton of Cozad, Nebraska at Bethel church, Wednesday, Oct. 29th. A large company of relatives and friends paid honor to this early pioneer. Burial took place in Bethel Cemetery.
