A newspaper account of his death causes the date of death to be in question, so this memorial is made only using the April 1871 death date. ------ "Fairfield Ledger", May 4, 1871, Pg. 3, Col. 6 ACCIDENT. A man named HARMON, on his farm five miles n.(?)w. of Fairfield, fell about 6 ft. from a scaffold on the 25th (?) ult. and broke the spinal column of his neck. He died the day following. ------- Updates a/o October 7, 2011: First wife was (according to Z.
