On Feb. 24, 1876, he was united in marriage to Margaret Wilson. To this union were born eleven children, two of whom died in childhood, a daughter, Mary, aged eight years died in 1897, and a son, Lester, aged 14 years, died in 1902. Read More	Source: The Victor Record 1/3/1924 OBITUARY - ADAM DOLMAGE Adam Dolmage was born in Scott county, Iowa, Jan. 19, 1855. He was a son of Mary and John Dolmage. On Feb. 24, 1876, he was united in marriage to Margaret Wilson. To this union were born eleven children, two of whom died in childhood, a daughter, Mary, aged eight years died in 1897, and a son, Lester, aged 14 years, died in 1902. During the first ten years of his married life he lived near Malcolm, Iowa. While there he became a member of the Presbyterian church. Later he was associated with the Congregational church in Victor. In 1886 he moved with his family to Victor, Iowa, where he lived on a farm until 1908. He retired from farming and moved to Evanston, Ill. His wife, Margaret Wilson Dolmage, died in Jan. 1917. In the spring of 1921 he returned to Victor Iowa residing in the south part of town. On Sept. 20, 1923, he was married to Miss Florence Harwood of Evanston, Ill., who, with Mrs. Dolmage, died Dec. 27, 1923. His age was 68 years, 11 months and 8 days. He is survived by a sister, nine children, 14 grandchildren, and 12 nieces and nephews. The sister is Miss Emma Dolmage of Perris, Calif.; the children are Flora and Frank of Victor, Mrs. C. W. Rubel of Berkeley, Calif., Austin of Waukee, Mrs. J. F. Kane of Brooklyn, Mrs. R. O. Weeks of Evanston, Ill., and Mrs. J. P. Browne of Chicago, Ill. Mr. Dolmage was a member in good standing of the A.F. & A.M. Sharon Lodge No. 187, being both a Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason. He also belonged to the Eastern Star, I.O.O.F. No. 192 and the K of P. No. 117. ---------------------------------------------------- He married his second wife, Miss Florence Harwood of Evanston, Ill. on September 20 in California. The funeral for Mr. Dolmage was held Monday afternoon from the Methodist church. Rev. J.M. Fleming read a scripture lesson and offered a prayer. The sermon was preached by Rev. J.J. Pritchard. The music of the service was a solo by Prof. Covert, after which the body was interred in the I.O.O.F. cemetery beside that of his first wife.
