He was married November 17th, 1885, to widow Wilhelmina Wiesz, nee Reiner. Eight children were born to this union, of which 6 are still living and married, viz Tobias Guenthner, Reinhold Guenthner and Adam Guenthner, Jr., Mrs. Jacob Mohl, Mrs. David Isaak, and Mrs. Wolf.
