Description	:	Miss Della Birney was born in McLean County, Illinois, on July 18, 1866, and moved to Nebraska with her parents in 1873. She joined the M. E. Church in Seward, on February 10, 1889, under the ministry of Rev. J. H. Presson, and was received into full membership August 29, 1889. She continued a faithful member until she was transferred to the church above. She was married to Mr. M. R. Pendell on March 10, 1892, by Rev. J. S. W. Dean. She died July 11, 1898, aged 31 years, 11 months and 23 days. She... Read More	Miss Della Birney was born in McLean County, Illinois, on July 18, 1866, and moved to Nebraska with her parents in 1873. She continued a faithful member until she was transferred to the church above. She was married to Mr. M. R. Pendell on March 10, 1892, by Rev. J. S. W. Dean. She died July 11, 1898, aged 31 years, 11 months and 23 days. She leaves a husband, three step-children, a father, mother, four brothers, three sisters and a host of friends, but she has gone to meet her Savior, her sister, and a great host of redeemed ones, where death shall never come. The funeral was conducted at the residence five miles northeast of Seward on Wednesday, July 13, where a very large number of people assembled for the funeral services, which were conducted by Rev. Geo. M. Morey, after which the interment occurred in the North cemetery. It was a sad funeral and much sympathy is expressed for the bereaved husband, parents, brothers, sisters and other relatives.
