Adolph or "Kamy" as many knew him, was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Billings, to George and Elizabeth Kamerzel. He grew up in the Laurel/Hesper area. His family was by his side as he entered into the presence of the Lord. Adolph or "Kamy" as many knew him, was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Billings, to George and Elizabeth Kamerzel. He grew up in the Laurel/Hesper area. Adolph served his country in the Navy Seabees during WWII. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to the states. He married Esther Benner July 19, 1945. They have shared 57 years together. Adolph worked at the Cenex refinery for 43 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Park City Fire Department and a 50 year member of the American Legion. His greatest joy came from sharing time with his family. Fishing, trapping and hunting were favorite leisure time activities. He was also an avid gardener. Adolph was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and George Kamerzel; sisters, Esther (Shorty) Zieske, Lillian (Tex) Hicks; brothers, Harry Kamerzel and Bob (Peg) Kamerzel. He is survived by his wife, Esther of Park City; daughters, Mary Kamerzel of Park City, Dorothy DeCosse of Bozeman; two granddaughters, Mindy and Gina DeCosse of Bozeman, who were the light of his life and brought such love and joy and fun to each day; two sisters, Clara (Ralph) Glantz of Billings and Bernice (Rudy) Wegner of Laurel; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at First Congregational Church in Laurel. Interment with military honors will be in Park City Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel. Memorials may be to First Congregational Church or charity of choice.
