Description	:	Adolf Raff Rites Mr. Adolf Raff passed away at his home west of Creighton, Saturday morning after an illness of almost three weeks. Adolf Raff was born at Stewcott, Germany the 11th day of December, 1850 and died at the age of 91 years, 11 months and 26 days. At the age of 22 years he came to Champaign County, Ill. On January 22, 1879 he was united in marriage to Lena Bohme, to this union 11 children were born, three having died in infancy. Read More	Adolf Raff Rites Mr. Adolf Raff passed away at his home west of Creighton, Saturday morning after an illness of almost three weeks. Adolf Raff was born at Stewcott, Germany the 11th day of December, 1850 and died at the age of 91 years, 11 months and 26 days. At the age of 22 years he came to Champaign County, Ill. On January 22, 1879 he was united in marriage to Lena Bohme, to this union 11 children were born, three having died in infancy. His wife having passed away the 20th day of November, 1937, still surviving are 6 boys and 2 girls, William, John, Charley, Frank, Eddie, Norman, Lena and Annie, all of Creighton. In 1888 they moved to Saunder County, Nebr., where they lived till 1902 and then located on a place 10 miles west of Creighton, where he lived till his death. He leaves to mourn besides his children, one sister, Helena Raasch of Omaha, Nebr., 26 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, besides numerous other relatives and a great host of friends. "Grandpa" Raff, as he was known to his friends was a most wonderful father and was a benefactor to all who needed his wisdom and council. In his younger years he accepted Christ as Savior and became a member of the Methodist church. He continued in this faith until his promotion to be with his Christ.
