The Rev. Msgr. Joseph Moran, pastor of St. Thomas Church, Washington, D.C. was celebrant. The Rev. Charles H. Quinn was deacon and the Rev. George J. Pugh, subdeacon. Interment was in the parish cemetery. Active pallbearers were Charles Spriggs, Raymond Elliott, John McBee, Thomas McGuire, P.J. Healy, John Kelly, H.P. Whitworth, Jr., and Heber Poland. Honorary pallbearers were Marshall Jones, James Laffey, Edward Pendergast, Sr., Adam Zais, P.A. Laughlin and Lewis Harris. A native of Westernport, Mrs. White was a daughter of the late William and Susan Donahue Malloy. Her husband the late Thomas White, former city commissioner, was associated with his father and brothers in operating the White Foundry for many years. A sister, Mrs. Mary (Thomas) Moran of Westernport is the only survivor. Mrs. White was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, the Sodality of the parish, Court Sancta Maria, Catholic Daughters of America and a charter member of the Alumni Association of St. Peter's High School. Mrs. White was graduated from St. Peter's High School and also from the Music Department in 1906. For twelve years she was the church organist. She frequently played for local musical groups, particularly for Tom Dailey's orchestra. In the days of silent movies she played the piano accompaniment at local theatres. Among the out of town relatives and friends who attended were Msgr. Joseph Moran, Miss Anna Moran, Mrs. James Malloy, Mrs. Margaret Kilduff, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Ernest Bayles, Bradshaw, Md.; Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Sossion and daughter Margaret, Connellsville, Pa.; Miss Mary Lennan, Elkins; Thomas Reynolds and son Jack, Thomas, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moran, Harundale, Glen Burnie, Md.; Leo White, Raleigh, N.C.; Miss Winnie Green, Miss Mary Moody, Mrs. Michael Byrnes, Frostburg, Md.; Miss Nellie McNally and Miss Virginia Welsh, R.N., Cumberland."
