Description	:	Having suffered a stroke on Jun. 8, 1997, Aeise Valentien became a resident at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center on Jun. 17. He died there early Wednesday morning, Jul. 16, 1997, having attained the age of 90 years, one month and four days. Aeise M. Valentien was born on a farm near Willow Lake, SD on Jun. 12, 1907, the son of Marten and Hannah (Bruns) Valentien. He died there early Wednesday morning, Jul. 16, 1997, having attained the age of 90 years, one month and four days. Aeise M. Valentien was born on a farm near Willow Lake, SD on Jun. 12, 1907, the son of Marten and Hannah (Bruns) Valentien. He attended Telford Rural School there and then moved to Lennox area as a teenager, where he was employed as a farm laborer. On Feb. 25, 1931,he was united in marriage to Anna Kock at LaValley Presbyterian Parsonage at rural Lennox. Following their marriage they established their farm east of Lennox where Aeise continued farming until the 1970's when they retired into Lennox. His death ended a marriage of faithful devotion of over 66 years. Besides his parents he was precede in death by his son, Loren, who died at 21 years of age on Oct. 14, 1958; plus four brothers and five sisters. He is survived by his wife, Anna, a resident at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center: one brother, Matt Valentien of Willow Lake; four sisters: Katie Lesmiester of Morris,MN, Nellie Peterson and Elsena Lunda, both of Watertown and Effie Nelson of Willow Lake.
