Description	:	Agnes Kuta, 92, of Humphrey, Nebraska, died Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Norfolk Veterans Home in Norfolk, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 20, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey with Father Eric Olsen celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a vigil service at 7:00 PM all at the church. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Interment will be in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Tarnov, Nebraska. Agnes Ann Kuta was born on June 10, 1929, in rural Pierce, Nebraska, to Frank and Mary (German) Martischang. She grew up in the Lindsay, Nebraska area and graduated from Lindsay Holy Family High School in 1947. On June 29, 1954, Agnes was united in marriage to Alvin Kuta in Lindsay. After their marriage they lived in the St. Mary's area and the Tarnov area before moving to Humphrey in 1994. Agnes was a member of Catholic Daughters of America, Alter Society, was involved with a card group for over 60 years, and loved quilting. She was a faithful member of St. Francis Church and a strong supporter of Humphrey St. Francis Schools.
