Agnes was born January 29, 1922, on her family farm in Oliver County, ND. She was the 7th of 15 children born to Bernard Sr. and Florentine (Heinz) Pfliger. Agnes grew up in Pleasant Valley and attended country elementary school. She worked for several neighbors until she moved to Monroe, WA, and worked as a practical nurse for 3 ½ years. She then moved back to North Dakota and married Anton “Tony” Emineth. The couple farmed in Center and moved to Baldwin in 1950, where they raised their seven children, Linda, Elaine, Marie, Dan, Jerry, Norman, and Joseph. Agnes enjoyed gardening, photography, crocheting, quilting, beadwork, and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; her sons, Norman and Joseph; her parents; her sisters, Marion, Monica, Idenia, Frances, Berbeda; her brothers, Nick, Frank, Anton, and Adam; and her great-grandson, Landon Emineth.
