Description	:	Al H. Klitz, 94, of Holyoke, died Aug. 12, 2002, following a heart attack. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 16 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Dan Zimmerschied officiating. Burial will be at Holyoke Memorial Park. Arrangements were made by Roberts-Baucke Funeral Service. Mr. Klitz was born Sept. 10, 1908, in Dodge, Neb. He grew up on a farm in eastern Nebraska and attended schools in the local community. He grew up on a farm in eastern Nebraska and attended schools in the local community. On Nov. 28, 1934, he married Leona Miller of Holyoke. They were the first couple married in the current Saint Patrick's Church the day after its dedication. They farmed in the Dodge area and moved to Holyoke in 1937 to continue farming. Mr. Klitz was a farmer, a manager at the Great Western sugar beet factory at Ovid for 17 years, and a professional house painter. He was an active member of Saint Patrick's Church of Holyoke, and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Klitz is survived by his daughter Charlotte Greene and her husband Robert, Colorado Springs; sons Ken and his wife Shanley, Boulder, and Alan and his wife Sharon, Belle Fourche, S.D.; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Contributions may be contributed to the Al H. Klitz Memorial Fund. October 14, 2002 Journal-Advocate
