Lumpy died Sunday, March 20, 2022, at his residence. Lumpy Sedlacek, son of Erwin and Sylvia Sedlacek, was born August 14, 1959, at Spencer, Nebraska. He attended Spencer High School. On August 14, 1999, Lumpy married Diane Seelinger, in Spencer. Lumpy was born and raised in Spencer and was a farmer all his life. He farmed with his brothers and Dad until he, Lawrence, and Paul took over the farm from their father. Farming was his passion. Lumpy played baseball, basketball, and football in high school. He was also a member of FFA. He enjoyed bowling, playing Strat-o-Matic each evening, and farming. Lumpy is survived by his wife, Diane Sedlacek; stepchildren, Renee Minter of Roseville, California, Mike (Sarah) Gerolamy of Sacramento, California, and Ryan Melton of Sacramento, California; five grandchildren, Shelby and Tyler Minter of Roseville, California, Brandon, Dillon, and Javier (Danielle) Gomez of Sacramento, California; siblings, Paul (Deb) Sedlacek of Pierce, Nebraska and Carol (Rich) Driscoll of Texas; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Sylvia Sedlacek; and brother, Lawrence Sedlacek.
